Ok, I just tried it replacing the knife and it works perfectly (simply rename the katana.dff and .txd to knifecur and then replace them in the gta3.img), except for the stealth kill, which looks kinda weird in my opinion, but others will disagree, so i set the stealth anim in the weapon.dat to null. I also made what i believe to be a better icon, too:

Fits in a little more with the game.

I would place an update to this but seems as tho this site is still having problems with file loading and such.
