ABOUT:

This modification brings the draw distance, sun size and atmosphere of the Playstation 2 version of San Andreas to any total conversion that you request.

It is a very easy modification but it changes the whole experience of the maps you are installing the mod to. However, it will not make you happy in any way if you like over the top draw distances where you can see the whole map at once...

INSTALLING:

Read the readme file provided with your individual download because every total conversion is different.

INFORMATION:

To get the best look in your game you should download the following additions (Right click - save as):

 SilentPatchSA 
 PS2 post-processing effect by THE HERO 
 Wetobjs.asi by LINK/2012 (only put in the Wetobjs.asi and not the other files!) 


You will need an ASI loader for the additions!
These are also essential if you are going for the look shown in my screenshots.

It is strongly recommended to use the timecycp.dat from your original San Andreas or getting a timecyc with PS2 values for your total conversion! Most weather files that come with total conversions are unoptimized for this modification because they were written without this mod in mind!
In case of GTA United 1.2 this can be done without any drawbacks because Vice City lies in the range of sunny Los Santos and Liberty City lies in the range of cooler San Fierro. So you should get the correct depictions of the individual maps. Just rename timecycp.dat to timecyc.dat and copy the file over to data/timecyc.dat
