Have you ever tried to make some model changes to a character, only to find out that Vice City's cutscene models spit up errors like no tomorrow when opened with Kam's scripts in 3DS Max? This is because they use a different format that Kam's scripts wasn't made to open. Using this tool, I managed to convert the actor models from the PS2 version of the game, and now aspiring modders can open them up just fine, no re-rigging required! That's right! It's been ten years coming, but you can finally put stupid hats on Ken Rosenberg, with no need to reconstruct lip rigging.
USAGE: I'm not going to teach you how to use 3DS Max and all that, but... keep these DFFs in a folder somewhere for safe keeping. When you want to... say... edit Kent Paul, import his model (in this case CSKent.dff) using the IFP I/O. Make your changes, then export as needed. Replace the corresponding model in GTA3.IMG then test it out!
WARNING: There may be some small kinks and redundant/unnecessary models, so please let me know in the comments.
Special thanks:THE HERO, without him making RWConvert this wouldn't have at all been possible.
