Description
If you watch the third trailer for Vice City, you will notice the wheels are slightly different than the one's seen in the final game (Most notably on cars like the Infernus). I have discovered these wheels deep in the gta3.img of the PS2 version of the game. Thanks to the help of THE HERO and his amazing tool "RWconv" I was able to bring these wheels to you for your enjoyment!

Most of these wheels are similar to the ones in the final version but cleaner. Rockstar decided somewhere down the line to make the wheels look dirtier than they were in the beta version. They also removed the tire tread lines you can see around the edge of each rim/hubcap in the beta version and replaced it with a more GTA 3 style flat texture. This can be seen mostly on the sport and alloy style wheels which also means the textures are slightly higher resolution due to no need for treads being within the textures themselves.

Special thanks:
THE HERO - Creator of the tools needed to convert DFFs from the PS2 version.
Rockstar - Original models.

Is there any way to add them only to the Infernus?
There is, but it would require a lot of modding within the Infernus model it's self and the use of the custom wheels mod. You can edit the default.ide file and make any car with the infernu's wheels to have a different type of wheel so only that car will have it.

Yeah, I had noticed that some of the textures had a bit better resolution, I was going to use those better ones for my Rebuilt VC HQ Wheels mod, well I still can use them for a future release of the mod, perhaps we can go off and make our own better Beta Mod. My Airport is basically complete but some of the models are too bright at night, perhaps I might ask someone I know to try and fix that, then move onto some other parts of the city to model.

You can also add to the description that these are the Clean versions of the Vice City Wheels (DefaultDffBatchNode.txd/.dff), they made the final ones look more dirty. That is if you have converted the DefaultDffBatchNode files, I remember taking a look at them a couple years ago when THE HERO released the DFF Converter, back then the wheels meant nothing to me. (Before I knew about the Beta Things)
I did convert them from the DefaultDffBatchNode and I updated the description. I also added the tread texture you can see around some of the wheels on this version making the rim's texture resolution slightly higher. I always wondered why certain beta wheel textures didn't have a tire texture around them until I was able to successfully convert them and noticed that the tread texture went in it's place instead.
