Description
Vice City Ultimate FX 2013
This mod replaces default particle.txd with a better textured version, thus providing better SMOKE, EXPLOSION, WATER, RAIN, WATER RIPPLES, ALL SHADOWS, VEHICLE HEADLIGHTS, CORONA, LENS FLARES, BLO0D, CARDEBRIS, FLYING LEAFLETS etc., TYRES SKID MARKS, CRACKED GLASS, MOON, FIREBALLS, MUZZLE FLASHES etc. Its 2014(! ) but we still play Vice City coz we love it but it needs better FX.

BUG FREE VERSION
After reading comments below I discovered that two bugs have sneaked into this mod.I thank Captain Spiff and another anonymous user for reporting these bugs. Ive fixed the two bugs discussed in comments and uploaded a second file named VC_ULTIMATE_FX_2013_BUGFREE_VERSION_BY_Blackheart69.rar By the way no other changes were made to the mod.
This version is 100% bugfree.
Replaced more than 95 textures in particle.txd to provide realistic effects. New HD Smoke including damaged car smoke, gun smoke, collison smoke, bullethitsmoke, tailpipe smoke, drift smoke etc., EXPLOSION, HD transparent WATER, RAIN DROPS EFFECTS, WATER RIPPLES, ALL SHADOWS, VEHICLE HEADLIGHTS, CORONAS, LENS FLARES, BLO0D STAINS, CAR DEBRIS, FLYING NEWSPAPERS, LEAFLETS etc., TYRES SKID MARKS, BULLETSHELLS, CRACKED GLASS, MOON, FIREBALLS, MUZZLE FLASHES etc. Note: I have removed the annoying smoke trails left after shooting bullets.
IMPORTANT
It is recommended to use vctrails.asi file, this file will enable you to enable TRAILS effects in display settings of Vice City thus allowing a soft bloom and slight motion blur to game making it more cinematic. INSTALLATION
1.Extract the contents from archive using winRaR or other software. 2.Put the file particle.txd in "models" folder in your GTA Vice City directory.

Bro thanks for reporting the bug.Ive fixed the corrupt texture and now the targeting reticule should be fixed.Ive uploaded a new file so download it and check it out.Thanks

Bro, could you upload a screenshot comparing the default and modded effect so I could better understand the problem and probably fix it?Thanx for noticing.

AWESOME mod man .Its freaking awesome.Must have mod if wanna play Vice City which is such an old game .But this mod adds lots of HD effects and look real nice on my 1080p monitor. :colgate: .here bro . have some cookies and fish and loaf :cookie: :cookie: :cookie: :cookie: :breadfish: :catloaf:

Bro.Thankx for noticing and reporting.I do not have VC so I couldn't test it myslelf but I'll take your word.I have uploaded a texture image that I think is (probably) causing the issue when using auto-aim(with a controller?). Download this image and replace target256 in particle.txd using txd workshop.If problem solved please reply if not plz reply with screenshot.Hope you read this.If you do thanx for your patience. http://s23.postimg.org/6rqxm0m87/target256.png :cool:
