Thanks for downloading my mod.

This mod turns the car damage the closest to the reality as possible. Cars now get deformed as in reality.

- No more unrealistic car deformation.
- The times where you used to hit a car and keep rolling at normal speed like nothing happened are gone.
- You can now get your car deformed only by hitting a ped or a street light or a toll barrier.
- Car handling was also changed according to Realistic Driving & Flying Skills mod made by Killatomate.

Installation:

1) Make a backup of the original file called "handling" located on LocalDisk/Programs/RockstarGames/GTAIV/Common/Data
(NOTE: The file is only here if you have installed the game with the normal/automatic installation. If you have chosen to install the game in other folder, go to that folder and then acceed to Common/Data and the file should be there. Anyway, these last 2 folders are at your GTAIV installation directory)

2) Copy the file "handling" that comes with this mod (common/data folders) and paste it on the same folder that the original (LocalDisk/Programs/RockstarGames/GTAIV/Common/Data).

3) It will ask you to replace the files. Click YES.

4) Open the folder «Paste this file at these subfolders» that comes with the mod. Go through the other sub-folders (GrandTheftAutoIV/pc/data) and copy the file called «filelist.pak» to the respective directory: LocalDisk/Programs/RockstarGames/GrandTheftAutoIV/pc/data.

5) Close everything and run the game.

6) Enjoy!

This mod works with the latest RockstarGames patch 1.0.3.0 . So it won't block you the MP. For that, you need to install this mod:
