The San Andreas Audio Toolkit (SAAT) is a set of commandline tools useful for modding the PC version of the video game Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. SAAT allows the importing of Ogg Vorbis files into SA audio streams and the importing of WAVe files into SA sfx archives. It will also necessarily allow exporting from each type of archive into individual files.

SAAT is released under the GNU GPL and the distribution includes complete C++ source code as well as pre-compiled Windows binaries. The initial release version is fully functional, and future plans include adding a more user-friendly interface based upon user feedback and suggestions.

There is a fairly large difference between "I don't understand your program" and "it doesn't work" ;) As I replied to you in the GTA Forums thread, I will need more detail on exactly where you placed the exes, what command you typed, and what error message you received in order to be able to help. I will understand, however, if you find the commandline too difficult to deal with and would rather wait for future interface improvements.

This program works, but it's confusing messing around in the command prompt as people are used to programs with user interfaces that does the work for them. Maybe if you could work towards that, then more people would be inclined to download this nifty tool! And to matthew57778, there is no need to be rude.

Hi, your pm box is full so I'll try to contact you here. I'm working on a new version of my savegame editor (at paulinternet.nl) for San Andreas. I'm trying to implement to change clothes. The wiki at gtamodding.com says I have to calculate the crc32 of the filename of the model/texture. Do you know of what string I have to calculate the crc32?

Nevermind, I got the answer from Ryosuke and updated the documentation at gtamodding.com.
