What if... 9/11 had never occurred ?
We know that some elements of GTAIII were tweaked slightly, and even removed, due to the September 11th, 2001 terrorist attacks in New York. This mod intends to recreate the last build of the game before this catastrophic event.
This mod brings back the blue, NYPD-like police vehicles, the PS2 roads, timecyc.DAT and particle.CFG, the beta carcols.DAT and re-adds the cut or missing loops on the radio stations.
It contains only the minor changes that have been cut because of 9/11 and it isn't intended to recreate the very early, cartoony beta version from 2000.

CHANGES ON THE RADIO STATIONS:
First of all, to have this working, you MUST install patch 1.1 or use a NoCD crack. Otherwise, you'll get the regular stations.
On Head Radio : the first text line of the Love Media promo is now full.
On Chatterbox : there is now one beta commercial that was cut.
On Flashback FM : the mute dialogue line at 4:05 is now fixed.
You are totally free to use this mod and its contents as you wish. If you are to use it in another mod of yours, I'd only ask you to credit me for what you will have used from it. And if you do so, just tell me about your mod, I might be interested in playing it
