Another simple mod, this time very much WIP.
Modifies weaponinfo.xml so that most weapons register as fire damage rather than bullet damage. This leads to npcs/player twitching and convulsing on the ground after receiving a bullet - looks great.
There is a glitch where if you are shot with an enabled weapon, you immediately get out of your car. So for now, this is a fun experiment that I am enjoying.
I made this after looking through lilmcnessy's taser mod (http://www.gtagaming.com/downloads/gta-iv/weapon-mods/3070) to see how to make them convulse.
This is very much a WIP, the same effect applies to you so it becomes like an extreme version of the bullet impact mod. Most of you will probably need a healing mod/trainer since once you go down, youre basically screwed unless there are other targets to draw away fire.
If you like this mod, help is appreciated. I need to access what controls the duration and effect of fire on the player, so that I can stop the 'glitch' of getting shot and immediately getting out of the car you were in. Any help would be great!
INSTALL - Back up 'weaponinfo.xml' in common/data, then replace.
Bugs -Apart from getting out of the car after getting hit, there is another bug Ive seen where npcs in the distance that have been hit will loop falling down and getting up. i think its a memory issue, when i got close they either disappeared or fixed themselves.
Guns that cause convulsion:
Everything except glock, melee weapons and explosives
Plays great with my other mod "Blood Spurts/Visual Bleeding"
