i don't mean to troll but, (I think) in the military they just called it C-47, but i guess either way is right since C-47 is just the militarized version of DC-3, DC-3 was a passenger plane and C-47 was a cargo plane. it was made the same way DC-3 was made except the seats were benches on the sides to hold paratroopers and enough room for cargo. also, the C-47 was only one color: an olive drab although it may have stripes depending on the plane.
