Thanks for the feedback [SRxC]ConTron - the collision file and the rest of the model are pretty much pushed to the polygon limits for a vehicle - if I add more faces, it started to crash on slower systems. It was a juggling act finding the spot where enough faces to make the vehicle useable were filled in..

One day I might do a refined version, but for now, I just can't be bothered.

Lol, thats ok.
But atleast the stairs are solid, and its such a big model.

I would keep it like this, but see if you could squeeze a bit more in to the sides yet it still runs on slower machines - i would huggle SA and pretty much play all day :P

EDIT: Wish i could remove the code in the main.scm so when you go on someone elses boat they dont run away like spazzers, so you could hitch a ride :rol:

Hey, want to say that THIS IS THE BEST MOD EVER!!!!!! ( and to hitchhike you need a jetpack,and a sub mach.gun. first fly to the ship NOT LAND! then fire as hell on the ship now try to land, if the boat stills run you made it.

back to the mod, will you make a V.2? because then IT WOULD ROCK EVEN HARDER!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah but, I have second version. It was unmodifiable until I realized that myself. So now I know why it couldn't let me try your big boat. I'm downloading the patch right now as I speak. And this boat also to go with it.

It's a nice mod, all you have to do yet is correct the handling: a carrier normally turns around its back (close to where the "propellers" are located), this one turns around its own Z axis. For the rest, it's great, never seen a mod like this. O and one more thing: it turns too fast, that might also be a little thing to pay attention at. I hope to see the final release

[DRuG]NikT Hi. This has been the first time I have been on in like two years! yes of course you can add that file to your mod. I love that boat, it is the first real big boat that looks great and has a nice col file too, but could use a little added on here or there. Iím not much good at modeling or col files but understand what goes into it and the time it takes. I worked on this handling line for weeks before I posted it. It wet through so many stages of drivability I looked at how the boat shifted on waves, reacts to cars,objects and much much more I canít remember now. I tried to make it act as real as possible except for speed because 30 mph is a bit boaring. I used to know exactly what every number in the line did. I remember trying to make a handling file for a submarine using a plane, I could get it handle just like a sub but never could get it to NOT fly. you would think well maybe try it over the vortex because it is a plane and dose not fly but it just wont tilt up and down right and had to many problems. Maybe the col file has a lot to do with how a vehicle handles. For example your big boat there handles much better a high speed (like jet boat speeds 800 or so mph)than I was able to make the Squalo handle and I think thatís because your boat has a flat bottom the Squalo has a V bottom really tipsy on turns and a lot less surface area on the water of course you can make the boat sit in the water lower but it didnít help me any. Maybe the sub I was trying to make would fly no matter what because I was trying to do it over the skimmer and not having wings may help. Iím going to get back into the game so if any one is making any big boats lol let me know. Snowmobiles are cool, I put a little snow in my game and the four wheeler would make a nice sled. Oh, and the snowmobile on this stie looks like crap. maby could make it drive over water like-skip it u know but code might have to be changed or something because I cant make it float. Maybe you could model huge sheet of ice, we could put it over a boat, put the ped under a ramp and then you would be able to skip water on a snowmobile to a floating chunk of ice or am I just crazy.

I found a way to stop the worst to the random flying- just change the handling line for the tropic under the "Standard" tab, not the boat tab.
Also, could you make a version using the cargo ship? And maybe make two mods for that, one for the big one near the Grant bridge, and one for the smaller one used in "Aquatic Assault".
EDIT: The name of the carrier is "U.S.S Liberty", in in Zero's RC store.

hey man nice mod i never thought someone can make my dream come true... well not just my dream but for everyone else who like this mod...

so this mod is not done yet? well i got some suggestions.
-make a nice wheel house for the captain like the ones inside the huge cargo ship CJ went to kill that one dude with the samurai... that be nice u no... this is just one of many options you can choose i understand the theres this max for a vehicle(polygons?) well i dont know what it is so if u can't make anything else,just make a wheelhouse b-coz it's kind of annoying seeing CJ sit on a invisible chair and steering wheel......

but other than that you made my dream come true...
to drive an aircraft carrier in S.A

oh one little thing... those SAM can hook up like the one's in the hydra... you lock it to the target then boom. the target gets shot down...

Oh i forgot... the carrier doesn't sink... i waited for 20min. water never came to the second level of the carrier...

I've updated the readme to include Brixter's lines, at this stage too busy to do more.. but still on the todo lists.

Brixter, great to hear from you and only the truly brilliant are a little insane. 8)

And i suggest another skin or color for this mod
(maybe...navy blue or royal purple or gray or maybe near black or an near-albino carrier)
you get an albino carrier when u dont add the .txd file
a near-albino when u have an albino carrier and u make it explode
(type allcarsgoboom)

I have done everything to the letter on the instructions but when I play SA it half loads, stops and reboots my computer!:sui: I really want this mod! :(

you have to downgrade from version 2 to 1. go to thegtaplace.com and search the forums for the downgrader.

Uh, i can't find the driver's area. also, have you seen one of these being driven by peds? :*( Not a pretty sight. they go hurtling into oblivion.
