I just made my 2nd mod for today. This one raises the water much higher, causing the floods of tunnels, subways, and other areas. Much like that scene in the 2012 Movie/YouTube videos.
Instructions:
Replace the original data files with my new ones. You don't need to replace the "surface.dat" file, but it has funny and wacky performance.
V2.1
Water is much more deeper, hopefully I should flood half of the dam in Shoreside Vale.
V2.2
Added support for GTA San Andreas for the mods GTA United and SA:LC. The floods are even better and cover more of the city(s). Thanks to EdisonCarter for his Water Adjuster tool.
UPDATE: I haven't been back here on GTA Net for a LONG time! Well, I came back just to update the info on each of the mods. Today I came up with an ideaI could make a GTA IV version of the mod, although it may be more complicated than ever. While I didn't have a problem editing GTA 3's water files, I did hit a few snags trying to alter SA's ones. That's why I needed to use EdisonCarter's tool to make the SA version.
Cool mod! I love this. But, I only find two areas. One I found at the Stauton Train Station. Two I found at Portland subway. I give you a lot of cookie! [color=Blue]
Thanks for the feedback! I'll add more updates when I have the time!
Hey guys, You need to have Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas PC installed on your computer, PLUS it needs to have the GTA United mod installed (look it up on Google or something). If you intended to use this for Grand Theft Auto 3, sorry but only subway and Staunton rail station are flooded until I flood more areas of GTA 3 Liberty City... This works for two games.

If you intended to use this for Grand Theft Auto II, sorry but only subway and Staunton rail station are flooded until I flood more areas of GTA 3 Liberty City... This works for two games.
