I had to delay v1.3 release again, due to some scripting issues. Nothing much, it won't take long like before, maybe a day or two. Check GTAForums topic for more info.
v1.3 is uploaded and is awaiting approval! It won't include the new menu and 'save anywhere' feature, read GTAForums topic for more info. And if there's any file missing, or something isn't working, please tell me.
v1.3 will come soon, just need to make an installer, since there are lot of files to install, which are really long to do manually. So after the installer is made, v1.3 will be there!
Thanks to frank.s, now my VC works, it wasn't a problem with my CD, it was a problem with a certain system file missing, and now it works! I will continue to work on PS, and v1.3 will be released soon, just to fix some small issues.
New screenshots with San Andreas Animations and new weapons are uploaded!
Mod was currently on hold in the past month, since I lost my VC CD, and now I'll re-buy it, and then I'll continue to work on v1.3, so it'll be released soon. However, frank.s was working on some new buildings meanwhile, and that'll be in v1.3 too. Check GTAF topic for more details.
And SuburbianNightmare will work on the artwork.
All of the new roads are replaced, including two different types: Usual (like the one on the Starfish Island, seen in the current screenshots) and Dock Roads. Also, Police uniforms are dark blue, and those Manhunt weapons are nearly designed from scratch. And instead of Health Pill, there's a Medical Kit.
Completely new screenshots with all the new features are uploaded.
Most of the VC '86 LQ weapons will be replaced with '90 HQ weapons. For now, Wooden Bat is replaced with Aluminium Bat and Kruger is replaced with AK47. Also, later Brassknuckles will be replaced with Stungun.
The Bolivian Cartel is done, and will be located near the North Point Mall, drives Mesa Grande. Frank.s is working on a new building which will be placed near the first island's Hardware Shop (check the mod's topic or Screenshot topic). Nearly all the road, grass and pavement textures are replaced, and there's a tiny bug with the new sand texture, and it'll be fixed, hopefully.
The second new gang, Aryan Brotherhood is WIP.
I got the permission from Vayan to use some of the features from VC: Second Wave, so in v1.3 there'll be Trash-Dash missions, ability to call the taxi, car heath-meter and speedometer. Screenshots coming soon! Special thanks to Vayan.
XBox Cars are there, and nearly all HD Roads, Grass etc. is replaced. I had to reduce the resolution of new HD textures from 1024x1024 to 512x512, as it was taking way too much MB. I just need to create a new script (similar to III's version) and beta 1.3 will be uploaded! New screenshot coming soon!
Big news! Beta 1.3 and later versions will be for GTA Vice City, with improved game engine, better scripts, and storyline set in 1990. year! And there'll still be Paul and Agent Mark.
Beta 1.2 was rejected because of the modified exe file. I'll upload the beta 1.2 without the exe file, but with some features which were planned for v1.3!
