Description
This mod makes the colt 45 aim(how CJ holds the weapon) like the silenced colt 45 !

HOW TO INSTALL: 

1. Using IMG Tool 2.0 replace the old colt45.ifp with mine
2. Open your Weapon.dat(found in data folder) and paste this in:

$ PISTOL INSTANT_HIT 200.0 100.0 346 -1	2 COLT_COP 15 25	0.25 0.05 0.09 2 999 1.0 1.0 6 15 6 6 16 6 99 7031

COLT_COP is the key thing in this. It makes the game use the silenced animation, instead of the colt45 animation.

You can basically do this to every weapon like the UZI: Look for the three lines of the uzi weapon data
and replace COLT45(or whatever there is) with COLT_COP

if it didn't work for you i think i know why. He wrote the code wrong. do the colt45.ifp thing with IMG tool and then when editing your weapon.dat go to the fourth line (to make sure you're in the correct line make sure it ends in 7031) of the pistol and copy the corrected version that i made: $ PISTOL INSTANT_HIT 200.0 100.0 346 -1 2 colt_cop 15 25 0.25 0.05 0.09 2 99 1.0 1.0 6 15 6 6 16 6 99 7031

Would be nice if you told us where exactly to paste the command since there are 3 lines of colt45 in the weapon.dat file.

Hey why doesn't this work if I simply extract silenced.ifp, rename it colt45.ifp and replace the original colt45.ifp in gta3.img? Is it because colt.ifp has two anims (colt_cop and colt45)? But this mod rocks; with few tweaks to the default.ide and weapon.dat, I could make all weapons to be handled 'professionally'.

If you set it through the lines weapon.dat file, and you look, you'll realize that not so. If you have that configuration setting, and you shoot in the game, you'll see that the Colt .45, every time you fire, after throwing a ball is tilted upward. But with the silenced pistol does not happen. Only moves like an inch back. That was why colt45.ifp configure file. To shoot just like a silenced pistol. I understand him.
