Description
This program will run when you start San Andreas, will back up all your saved games into appropriate folders (Backup Saves#datetime#). This program is perfect to prevent you from losing all your progress to a file corruption or accidental overwrite.

I have added a patch that changes what file SA Auto Backup launches. Insted of "gta_sa.exe", it will launch "gta_sa_dll.exe". This is needed for a mod someone informed me about that lets SA run in a window.

#UPDATE#
I have created a new backup program that will work with GTA III, VC, SA, IV & EFLC. Check it out http://www.gtagarage.com/mods/show.php?id=18757

 QUOTE (freekneek @ 18:48, Aug 17 2005)
this is zack and this peice of BS is HELL for me. everytime i try to type the target in (from the RM instructions) it tell me the target box is invalid. i dont think it backs oup saved games if this step cannot complete right. i try to run the thing myself but itg says error 53 file not found. i saved it i downloaded it so what the hell is going on with it as i need it to save my games with mods and things so i can try to complete the game with these mods. for ex. all in one 0.8. help me before i continue to burn in HELL with this thanks

This sounds like you have not readthe Read Me.txt fully.

You must put the SA Auto Backup.exe file into your San Andreas game inctonary in the Program Files folder. Once you do then you then edit the shortcut and the program will run fine.

The actual reason for your problems is,
When you are editing the shortcut, cauyse the file in not in the folder you are saying it is it will give you that error.
And when you run the program yourself, the error you get in caused because the program cant fine the gta_sa.exe file. The program need to find that to launch the game after backing up files.
So simple read the Read Me.txt more carfuly and follow every instruction and it will work.
