The Green Light District is a Total Conversion-modefication, started back in august 2006, at the dutch gtaforum. Since september 2011, the project Grand Theft Auto: Mafia Stories, is also part of our modefication. That makes The Green Light District the biggest Total Conversion-modifcation that has ever been developed at the dutch gtaforum!

*Three new Islands!
The Downtown District
This is the only island of the original concept we have placed ingame for now. This is the center of the Green light District. Here will you find the big city, at a little surface. There are several high buildings, a fair and a airport, clubs and more. This city is runned by the Zaibatzu gang, and they have only one thing in mind: A gigantic place where a junk will be able to wear the same outfit as the president does.

Rockford Island
This island is far away from the "normal world". People don't care what happends here. Here you will find a (unused) dock, a tree's, and a prison. Sounds uninteresting, till you visit the island, and discover that there is more..

Lynx District
This island looks a bit like The Downtown District, and is also runned by the Zaibatzu gang. The only thing is, that this island doesn't have the 'style & swag' which is present in The Downtown District. Having that said, this island is fun to discover with small street's, hills, carshop, hospital, pizza stack and more!

*GLD Cinema-lot in The Downtown District is transformed to Club Zaza
*28 new vehicles, featuring boats, planes and cars
*New Interface
*New models, like new lots and new generics (lampposts, trafficlights, busstops etc.)
*More improved models and textures
*New loading screens
*New fonts and zone names
*Names of vehicles, zones and weapons has been added
*More billboards and easter eggs
*Bugfixes like texture, collission and model fixes
*Improved weather

It's certainly worth a download.

Next version.
V2.0 is in development, and should be hitting gtagarage this fall. It will add much more islands, a radar, missions and more. Keep a eye in the GLD-topic to see more
