I made a mod like this myself. I say it also works in the air 'cuz the code affects all speeds of the vehicle, including falling speed. But do note though that when trying to stop a car you're driving from falling, it'll still fall, but slowly.

i dont think so, i think he stops only the plane like a standing helicopter whitout falling, but everything else keeps in its normal course...
