You have to have the .net script hook installed. Once that's done then all you need to do is extract the files in the trainer.zip to the scripts folder in your GTA IV directory. I added the files to
Grand Theft Auto IVScript
Thats correct right?
Because when i go into the game it doesn't work minut1 commented over 13 years ago: if you dont have the scripts folder i think you only fut it in gta 4 main folder  Man I dont have a GTA IV/Scripts folder lol how I install it then? @DemonicD3
Sorry it took me 2 months to respond  anyway, that's essentially what happens, you call a number and a car delivers a bodyguard to you. After that he'll follow you around, get in any car you get into, and shoot any people that threaten you. At the moment he's a bit incompetent, and there are a number of bugs to work out, but I'm working on improving him considerably. He's dressed in a suit and has an M4, at least that's what he has at the moment, I may make his appearance and weaponry configurable, but that's not a high priority. Also it is only possible to have 1 bodyguard at the moment, but in theory it should be simple to increase that.
The other feature I'm working on is a vehicle tracker, so that whenever the player is in a car they can open a menu and save their current vehicle. Then no matter where they leave their car it will always reappear at the last known location. So if you park it next to a Burger Shot, then that's where it'll appear. This also means that if someone rams your car after you've gotten out, but whilst you're watching, then the vehicle will be saved in its new location. I'm still having some trouble getting the database plugin working on systems other than my own, but this feature is essentially finished, so as soon as that's worked out I can get back to other bugs/features.
Hopefully I'll update soon.  What do you mean by Dial-A-Body Gaurd? Do you get a body gaurd being doing so? Because I have been looking for a good Body Gaurd mod that will add a couple body gaurds that will follow you, enter your vehicles and protect you. Ones that actually have useful body gaurds with body armor, assault rifles like a AK-47 or MP5 and can actually be useful in a fight. Also looks decent, aka a suit. A quick note to everyone interested in this mod, I have not stopped working on it, however it is on hiatus for the moment as other things are worked out. If you have any suggestions for additional features or bugs that you've encountered then please let me know, full credit will be given for any ideas that I use. OK, what can't you get to work, the whole script or the ammo section specifically? I can't get it to work. I have everything set up. I have version 1.04 It restores all your current weapons to full ammo, but doesn't make it unlimited. To use unlimited ammo you have to turn on God Mode. View All Comments | Add Comment
