Description
What is it?

Mod Loader is an ASI Plugin for Rockstar's Grand Theft Auto San Andreas that adds an extremely user-friendly and easy way to install and uninstall your modifications, without even messing around anything in your game installation.

The usage is simple, you just have to create one or more folders inside modloader directory and then drop the mod contents there. It's done. It is recommended to have one folder for each modification you have.

Still not sure? Check out this nice video from Ivy.

Highlights
  • Do not replace ANY original file, never, really.
  • Let Mod Loader take care of everything
  • Data files merging. Therefore you can for example have 70 handling.cfg files at modloader and they'll all work perfectly fine.
  • Readme files reading. No need to care about taking the data line from the readme file and placing in the data file, Mod Loader does that for you too!
  • Refreshable mods. Change or add the files while the game is running and see the results immediatelly!
  • Command line support. See modloader/.data/Command Line Arguments.md.
  • In-Game menu for configurations. Go to Options > Mod Configuration.
Last Changes v0.3.7 (Jan 20 2018) * Fixed an original game bug causing CdStreamSync to deadlock randomly (included an export for other mods to check if this std.stream build is aware of this bug and fixes it). * Fixed path translation heuristics for LoadLibrary, so explicitly loading system DLLs does not fail anymore. See modloader/.data/CHANGELOG.md file for the changelog of all versions.

Can someone explain to me how ''Readme file reading'' works exactly? Do I put a Readme file in the same folder as the car .dff and .txd and it recognizes it, or do I have to do something else?

It works very well on GTA san Andreas. Unfortunately it doesn't work at all on GTA Vice City even if I followed ll the instructions with ultimate ASI loader.

How do you install the modloader on for GTA VC. For me I got error messages saying I need GTA VC version 1.0 and then once I got that then it said I needed the asi loader and move the modloader.asi to the scripts folder, but when I did all of that no error came up I created a folder in the modloader folder and put the modded files in the new folder that was in the modloader folder, then I loaded the game and I found the car to replace and it was still the same as the original car. And I have the modloader for GTA SA and it works fine. Any Suggestions? :monocle:
