This mods includes 11 functions:
Toggled by Shift+U, doesn't work on planes
Replaces the vehicle's normal handling by an unstoppable handling.
Nothing will stop it, walls, buildings, trains, other vehicles, peds, objects, nothing (of course, you can brake it).
But you should enabled God mode (see below), because the vehicle can get damage from collisions.
Also, the movement is not natural, though i made it to mimic the normal handling.
The vehicle will also work as a boat too.
It doesn't work on planes though (it does, but they won't fly), because it uses the floor/water level as a height guide,
and planes don't need it so much, as there is almost nothing to collide with in airspace.
This mode has an un-fixable glitch: The map is multilayer, so there are several ground levels
in a same place. The vehicle will stick to the closest one, but when climbing mountains and passing
through tall buildings, it can get the value of the lowest layer, and so getting below the
ground level. To fix it, press 'K' key.
'K' key will get you on the top layer by increasing the level reference. You can use it
to get over a bridge too, if you are passing below it.
The vehicle will work in this mode even if it has been drowned on water.
It doesn't work on vehicles assigned to paths or trains (except if derailed).
New Glitch found: The vehicles some times change direction unexpectedly, in some areas of the map. I didn't find any explanations for this yet. The code doesn't read the vehicle's angle during the movement (only when starting), it only changes the angle through the key commands, so i don't know why this happens, and why only on those areas.
Toggled by Shift+T
Tosses away any normal vehicle on the way. Doesn't work on trains, vehicles assigned
to special paths, or vehicles with special identifications (shuch as the vehicles on a mission or vehicles in SA multi-player).
Recording toggled by Shift+R, playback toggled by Shift+P
Records and plays the vehicle's path.
On the playback, it'll ignore anything on the way, though it can collide and get damage, so
you may want to use God mode while on playback.
'L' Toggles looping, the vehicle will loop keep looping on the path while enabled
'9' and '0' Decrease and increase the speed of the vehicle on the path, respectively
Playback doesn't work on vehicles assigned to paths or trains (except if derailed).
If you toggle both on at the same time the game will crash at some point.
toggled by Shift+C
Records the vehicle's path to a file named CarrecX.rrr on /data/paths.
You can add it to carrec.img using an IMG tool (such as this one: http://www.thegtaplace.com/downloads/f552-img-tool-20)
and then rename the X for a unused number.
Then you'll be able to use it on missions,
using path opcodes and the path number you gave to it.
Shift+M
Attach the vehicle in front as a trailer to yours
Doesn't work on trains, vehicles assigned to special paths, or vehicles with special identifications (shuch as the vehicles on a mission or vehicles in SA multi-player).
Toggled by Shift+N
Makes you follow the vehicle in your front (may fail if there are too many vehicles close to you).
It is disabled automatically if the followed vehicle is wrecked, if you exit your vehicle, or if you die.
The distance between you and the vehicle in the moment you enable it will be kept, so choose the position you want to keep before enabling it. And be behind it, or the game may crash.
Doesn't work on trains, vehicles assigned to special paths, or vehicles with special identifications (shuch as the vehicles on a mission or vehicles in SA multi-player).
Shift+G
Makes your vehicle immune to everything. The only thing that can't be prevented is exploding your plane if you
hit water fast enough, no immunity setting prevents this.
Shift+i
Shift+N
Shift+X
First time it'll store your coordinates and plant the 'bomb', second time it'll explode it (it's a pretty big explosion, stay at least 15m away). There's no actual bomb object actually.
Not vehicle related, but why the who doesn't like explosions anyway?
Shift+K
Just like the one before, but without having to plant it first. |
