Description
SA LODless is a modification that removes all of the LODs from SA and also increase draw distances for all of the HQ models in game.

This is achieved by deleting Binary IPLs for every sector of the map and transfer the IPL lines to its IPL counterpart. Binary IPLs used by main.scm & interiors are left intact.

This modification is compatible with default main.scm as well as numerous different cleo scripts, map mods etc. I cannot promise that every mod will be compatible, as long as the mod uses LODs for any reason, then it should be compatible with SA LODless.

I would rather go for removing (or at least replacing the LOD textures), instead of the LOD's themselves (because of interiors not being there when you enter them since they are LOD's). On a side note, the building textures of that group of houses are missing mipmaps (they are full on grainy, you should mipmap them... )!

It's very good and stable but shouldn't be used with weather mods that increase the draw distance... 5/5

People use this mod because LODs are worthless and it frees up a ton of files because the binary IPLs aren't used anymore. Even my crappy rig can run this without any noticeable FPS drops, so it's fine to use.

Why would anyone want this? All it does is make the game run like sh*t because every single object is high quality ALL the time. LODs are used for a reason, and that's to minimize FPS drops while maximizing performance. You don't NEED to see a building that's miles away in its most detailed form because the human eye doesn't see in that much clarity in real life, hence they lower the detail of the object in question to save on performance since you can't really see it that well all the way back there anyway. Useless mod.
