GTA3: Spellcheck is my first mod, and very amateur stuff. In Spellcheck, all the spelling, punctuation and grammar errors are corrected, and if I find that something doesn't make sense, I'll correct it.
I have tested Spellcheck with GTA3 version 1.1, so I'm not sure if it'll work with version 1.0. It might though. Please contact me if it doesn't, and I'll find out why.
To use Spellcheck, just replace the 'american.gxt' file within your 'Rockstar Games/GTAIII/text' directory with the Spellcheck one inside the .zip file.
Many thanks go to the very few people at GTAForums who've supported me on this project.
Have Fun!
Alpha 1.0: Keyboard button names have been changed, most things in the 'Options' menu have been fixed. Give Me Liberty and Luigi's Girls have been half-fixed, but forgot to do the opening cutscene.
Alpha 1.1: Opening cutscene, Give Me Liberty and Luigi's Girls are COMPLETELY finished, more odd things here and there are fixed.
In any game I play (or any forum I read for that matter), spelling errors are almost always the first thing I notice. I'm sorry the support and interest has been low, but I would like to say that I, for one, appreciate the effort you have put into this. 5/5 stars.
I was just wondering if people think Spellcheck was good and if there was any point in going on with it, because nobody will reply to my topic on GTAForums. Is this mod worth the trouble?
