Description
I've stopped modding GTA:IV. The reason why and the source for this mod can be found here

NOTE: For the latest release you NEED:
.Net framework 4 (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=9cfb2d51-5ff4-4491-b0e5-b386f32c0992&displaylang=en)
Visual C++ library 2010 (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=a7b7a05e-6de6-4d3a-a423-37bf0912db84&displaylang=en%C2%A0)

Info
This scriptmod allows you to use Godmode in GTA:IV, without limiting your gameplay. You can rocketjump, fall of your bike, etc. I wanted a Godmode trainer (it's also in Sjaak's Simple Native Trainer), but without all the unnecessary extras. (I just want Godmode!), so I made this :)
Installation
Extract the "scripts" folder to your main GTA:IV directory. That's it. note: You will need an ASI-loader (http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=380830) And HazardX's .Net scripthook (http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=392325) And for the latest release: .Net framework 4 (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=0a391abd-25c1-4fc0-919f-b21f31ab88b7&displaylang=en)
Usage
Simply press F1 (default button) to enable Godmode. Press CTRL + F1 to open the menu.
Advanced
If you want, you can also use the following commands in the console: "god" enable/disable Godmode "godmenu" open the menu You can also edit the settingsfile with a texteditor (like Notepad)
Changelog
*v2.1* - Re-compiled to .Net framework 4 to support the new release of the .Net scripthook - GTA version 1.0.6.0 and Episodes From Liberty City are now supported - Healthbar is less flickery now *v2.0* - Total re-write of the mod - Removed all console commands - Added menu - Added "god" console command - Added "godmenu" console command - Fixed a bug where the player would die while using a PC in-game - Fixed a bug where the player couldn't fall of their bike (for real now) - Changed version-numbering. This version is v2.0 to illustrate the total rewrite. *C# Beta 3* - You should be able to fall off your bike with Godmode on. *C# Beta 2* - Fixed a bug where you couldn't use melee with Godmode on. *C# Beta release* - Switched over from the C++ hook to the .Net Hook - Added a whole bunch of stuff. See the "Features" - New lay-out for the Settings file. It's now called "GodmodePlus.ini". You can now use regular key names.
Known issues
- While Godmode is on, the radar sometimes flickers red. This is not a serious issue and can't be fixed. - You die when you get in the rotors of a helicopter. I can't currently think of a (clean) way to fix this, so you'll have to be careful ;) If any issues arise please PM me at gtaforums.com (nickname = thaCURSEDpie) Don't leave a message here! My response will be very slow because I don't get notified :-/

Is it possible to get this mod in .asi? I have finally made my GTA IV work with asi mods (only), after thousands of crashes.

Is the .Net scripthook even loaded? (press the "~" key, next to the "1" key on your keyboard. It should pop up the console) If not (which is likely) then you did something wrong during the installation. Do you have the C++ 2010 library? Do you have the .Net framework 4? Is the asi loader installed correctly? Is the .Net scripthook installed correctly (etc) If it does pop up (which I think is unlikely :p), make sure you have installed the mod in the right place (go to your main IV folder, where LaunchIV.exe -or something like that- is, and paste the contents of the archive you downloaded there)

Ferna_22 commented over 13 years ago:
I use it, it´s simple and very useful because I don´t want to load tons of functions when I only wanna be invincible, 5* :) ...
thaCURSEDpie commented over 13 years ago:
Yeah I know :). But when this mod came out SNT didn't have that feature yet (I'm not even sure SNT was out back then). And I just keep supporting it :) EDIT: And IMO > 100 downloads on the latest versions warrants this. Yeah it's not a lot, but if I can even make 1 person happy with it, my goal is achieved :)
apache249 commented over 13 years ago:
You know that SNT has an option called special god mode which is this right?

 QUOTE (Deathweasels @ 20:51, 14 Apr 2010)
Is there any way in your spare time that you could post links to everything I need to install this mod (patchs, scripthook, ect.) Sorry for asking this but im having a hard time finding things that actualy work. Thank you ahead of time wether or not you respond. I beleave I found out what I need except the scripthook. If you explain what i need to do with the one you sugjested it would be appreciated.
You will need an ASI-loader (http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=380830). Place it in your main IV directory (where LaunchIV.exe is) And HazardX's .Net scripthook (http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=392325) Place all those files/folders also in your main IV directory. To your main directory should now be added: 1. dsound.dll 2. scripthook.dll 3. scripthookdotnet.asi 4. a folder called "scripts" Place my mod in the scripts folder and you're done :)

HazardX finally updated his scripthook (helped by LMS), so I recompiled and... here you go :) Changelog: - Re-compiled to .Net framework 4 to support the new release of the .Net scripthook - GTA version 1.0.6.0 and Episodes From Liberty City are now supported - Healthbar is less flickery now At the time of writing it's waiting autorization, but that should be over soon.
