I uploaded a early Beta.
Just looking for commentsproblems mostly.

One thing, the GF attacks happens 5 time as often
as the finial version.

I did 2 separate uploads to get under the 2Meg limit,

maybe this is dumb question but can u explain where i need to put cleo folder.. where I need to put cleo mods to let them work?

Okay, this is just from memory thou.

Cleo is 3 files, you put them in the main San Andreas folder
Then create a folder named cleo in the main San Andreas folder, like;

…..Rockstar/San Andreas/cleo

to install cleo mods, you just copy them into the cleo folder.

mods here haven't been on here in a few days.
doesn't bother me though, I'm sure they have enough to
do with putting the site back together again.
besides, I've found a number of nagging bugs since
I upload this beta.
nothing serious, but none the less....

I'm just getting back to the racing stuff right now,
looking good, if I don't say so myself! :D

Forget the Beta I uploaded, next one is better, and more well tested.

Update:
The package pickup is complete
The racing / time trials are complete; only 4 races are designed though.
Software race designer is complete.

I added an extra side mission to the drug pickups, where
sometimes the gangs will attack your girlfriend’s house.
This is now complete. (with some special R* stuff too)

I’ve added an ambush mode where the gangs try and assassinate you
anytime, anywhere, this is complete now.

Since I have time before I can upload this; there’s more.
I added a key code, so you can turn on/off all this stuff.

Since gangs can assassinate you it only fair that we have a mission
for you to get them too.
50 assassination missions. So far I have 3 types,
stealth/sniper, close and personal, base attack.

Also I’m going to put back rampages as seen in the previous games.
Likely 50 to 100 rampages.
Features various ped and gangs, and using most weapons in the game.
I’ll try and do vehicles, but so far it looks like not.

speaking of the assaination missions

could we get something like drive by missions.. where your gang drives to a certain locations of a certain gang and you have to kill a specific one, and this will increase your respect or maybe add something similar to respect like "stripes"

Hey that’s a good idea, thanks, its kind of the same as the second one, but driving.

Stripes, I don’t know…. I have to think of a way to do it.
One of my goals with this mod is to keep from touching any of the
original game files.
That and try to make missions as random as I can, so each play is a little different
than the last.

Im really happy

Not only I now can play deezire's mod (things to do in san andreas till ur dead) or something like that

and after some time we can also play drugwars and races after completing 100%

Its really making me happy

Ya, but its not guaranteed, that Mod has some massive changes in it
but it “should” work though, since 99% of everything in this mod is external,
even the saves and stats are auto-saved into separate files.
I may have to change when you can start playing this to 100% completion though,
just to guarantee no interference, I think its about 80% now.
SA can get real funky in missions when extra objects are created, some kind of limitation.

Hey, at worst, with proper backups you can easily switch back and forth to the original and use a downloaded 100% save.

omg I hate deezires mod

I spent 20 minutes to replace the files in gta3.img and then the game crashes when trying to start

Imgtool is buggy, don’t blame his mod.
When replacing files, watch the file sizes, quite often when replacing you can see
the file size doesn’t change, there’s a good chance it was never replaced even though
Imgtool says it was.
There are a quite a few that you will need to do a delete and add, rather than just replace.
He says the final will have a script to do it all automatically, so you shouldn’t worry.
(really should post this over there, oh well)

opps, The file thats avaliable is only the package map.

Now that files are getting approved, I'll try and get
a new Beta uploaded.
It will be without the Assassin and Rampage missions though,Rampage stuff is coming along nicely, still lots to do with the Assassin stuff though.
Bad news is, I designed about 5 races and lost them, in a file copying mishap, so we're back to 1 single race again.

Oh, I added some fluff, Beach Partys every week, Wednesday nights I think. It doesn't really do anything, its just for show, there is an easter egg there, don't know if anybody will find it though.
